Palin and Clinton, as in Saturday Night LiveOK, the presidential election is history.  Maybe, just maybe, some of us who were following all of it (or any of it) could use a laugh - we can even bring back Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton for some (respectful) laughs.  Actually I have shared some of these humorous links over the last several months, but I would like now to put them front and center for a little while, so we can all relax

Fortunately, these three pieces are not only very funny, but are also intelligent, and perhaps most important, not particularly nasty (OK, so Sarah Palin doesn't come out so well in one of them).

Here, for your enjoyment, they are:

Obama vs McCain Dance Contest, with surprise visitor

Will Ferrel as George Bush, lecturing on Global Warming

Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton together, as in Saturday Night Live

Can you write comments on this post, on this site, about which of the three is your favorite?

OK, have a good laugh... on January 20th, hopefully we get to work.

Yep, I figure some people have seen some of these, or even all of these. But I just had to put them out there, in case there is even one single, suffering individual still pouring over Senate election results in Alaska and yelling at the TV set, or... well, you get the picture!

While I've seen these multiple times, I appreciate you taking the time to step away and look for some relaxing humor. My husband summed up my feelings pretty well last night when he said that he just needs a break (mostly from SU) because the election is over and he's just sick of hearing about it. I think there is time to let it go and the time is now. Not to say that we shouldn't still be concerned about the direction things are going, only that it's time to take a breather and LET IT GO.

Just my two cents. Good luck buying anything with that. :)

Along the way, I became aware of how the planet is under great stress due to the driven nature of human activity on this planet.

I believe that the advancement of human well-being will reduce societies addictive behaviors, and will thus also help preserve the environment and perhaps slow down the effects of global warming and other major threats to the health of human societies.
