Would you buy a used car, a war, or an environmental or energy policy, or for that matter, anything, from these three senior statesmen? One has to question whether they could have been chosen in a fair election.
A badly distorted version of The Three Stooges comes to mind.
Amnesty International has reviewed a new book on an imagined trial of Donald Rumsfeld for war crimes. Only their destroyed reputations will haunt them - any kind of effective prosecution appears remote, at least during the problems of economics, energy, and war that our nation is busy confronting.

The political nightmare is almost over, we hope. But, do they even know when or how to stop destroying? Hasn't the damage been sufficient? Haven't enough billions of dollars been wasted or diverted to their pals? Let us have our country back again.

Along the way, I became aware of how the planet is under great stress due to the driven nature of human activity on this planet.
I believe that the advancement of human well-being will reduce societies addictive behaviors, and will thus also help preserve the environment and perhaps slow down the effects of global warming and other major threats to the health of human societies.
