A white wall built in scale from one day of USA paper cups with two people (dots at lower left) and Statue of Liberty; click to see a great TED videoWe're the only country in the world that has these things called self-storage units, where people have so much junk they have to move it off-site.

Good quote. It drew my attention. At first, I was ready to start defending, vociferously and ad nauseam, the use of storage units by urban dwellers of teeny apartments, people in the process of moving from a temporary to more permanent dwelling, museums,….. But, since I believe it is wiser to not comment about the written, until I’ve seen the video, and vice versa, I watched the video. Although I disagree with the storage unit quote (yes, I really think storage units sometimes make a lot of sense, and no, they aren’t just a receptacle of junk) I do agree with the basic premise of the video. There are lots of areas, where we aren’t paying enough attention and acting proactively. For instance, people are dying daily of cigarette addiction, even to this day.
